Extenuating Circumstances
If a student’s grades were adversely affected by health or personal issues, some universities may take these extenuating circumstances into consideration when making admission decisions. The following are links to each university’s admission policies about extenuating circumstances.

You’re welcome to provide us with information that you feel should be considered in our review of your application. This may include circumstances that affected your grades.
Use our if you’ve faced a barrier and believe your grades don’t reflect your true abilities. Tell us about any negative circumstances that have affected your studies. This can include illness, mourning/bereavement, extracurricular commitments, employment/financial obligations, or any other personal, social, or systemic barriers you have faced.
The form must be submitted prior to receiving an admission decision.
