Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with protected or refugee status;
be admitted as a full-time student in an undergraduate CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board)-accredited program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa;
have graduated with an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma and achieved the designation of Ontario Scholar (must have a uOttawa admission average of 80%);
demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa; and
not have received more than $10,000 in overall scholarships for the academic year at the time of selection.
