York University has partnered with 4stay, a student housing organization, to provide Markham Campus students with a local living option that is affordable and close to campus. The residence is located a block west of Markham Campus.

The suite-style residences offer a mix of private rooms and shared spaces. You can choose from a cozy 1-bedroom + den, a spacious 2-bedroom or a versatile 2-bedroom + den layout. .
Accessibility and Convenience
Housing units are in private apartment complexes with elevators, making moving in and getting around easy. With no meal plan option, you have the freedom to cook and enjoy your favourite meals in your own kitchen.
Inclusive and Flexible Living Arrangements
While suites are generally same-gendered, requests for mixed-gender living arrangements may be accommodated.

Garantie de résidence
First-year, full-time students are guaranteed a residence offer if they are admitted for the fall session directly from high school and they apply by June 1, 2026.
The 2026-2027 Residence Application will be available on our in February 2026.

A $500 non-refundable Room Offer deposit must be paid online using a credit or Visa debit card to confirm your acceptance of your room offer. Your deposit is not an additional charge and will be deducted from your room fees after you move in.
