Residence Price(s)

$8,800 to $11,525 for 8 months (September to April)

Room Types

First-year students who prioritize single rooms in their residence preferences may be assigned to either Rodzik Hall or Alumni Hall. Those who prefer double rooms will typically be placed in Cartier Hall. Please note that while the ranking system is taken into account, assignments are not guaranteed solely based on preference.

Students beyond their first year may be assigned to Rodzik Hall, Alumni Hall or Laurier Hall.

Alumni, Rodzik and Cartier Halls offer semi-private washrooms, shared with 1 to 3 others. Laurier Hall features all-gender communal washrooms.

Amenities

Fully furnished rooms, lounge(s), kitchen(s), laundry room and Wi-Fi. Living Learning Communities are available. Trained Residence Life staff on hand 24/7 to provide social, academic and personal support. Accessible rooms are available. 

Residence Guarantee

First-year students coming directly from high school who complete their application and $475 deposit by the deadline date are guaranteed a spot in residence. After this date, residence spaces are assigned based on availability.

Meal Plans

With a busy class and social schedule the last thing you should have to worry about is food while living on campus! With an all-you-care-to-eat plan, you have full and convenient access to wholesome meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner that cater to diverse needs and tastes. A wide selection of menu items include comfort food, healthy options, local and international cuisine, as well as snacks and various hot and cold beverages. 

The meal plan is mandatory for all students living in residence. It's optional for non-residence students. At our state-of-the-art Dining Hall located in the Rodzik Hall residence students will swipe their UWin card upon entering the Dining Hall and have unlimited access to everything being served. They can enter as often as they wish (without limits) 7 days a week. All-access meal plan holders can also use the Flex Dollars portion of their meal plan at other UW food services locations as well as at our off-campus partners, vending and print services!
